What we collect

Two tools. Whether they load before or after you choose depends on where you are — see Your choices below.

We also record a small number of named events so we can tell which pages do their job: outbound and contact-link clicks, scroll depth, video plays, form submissions and time on page. None of these identify you personally.

In the EU, UK, EEA, Switzerland and Canada, none of the analytics cookies above exist and no request is made to Google or Microsoft until you accept. Elsewhere they are set on arrival and removed if you opt out.

Where you are changes what happens

Privacy law differs by country, so this site applies the rule that fits rather than the same rule everywhere.

If you're in…What happens on arrivalWhy
EU, UK, EEA, Switzerland, CanadaNothing loads. A banner asks first; analytics starts only if you click AcceptGDPR and ePrivacy require prior consent. Quebec's Law 25 does too

Your region is worked out from your browser's own timezone setting. We deliberately do not look your IP address up against a location database, because doing that would send your address to a third party before you'd had any say. The trade-off is that the guess can be wrong — if you're travelling, or on a VPN, you may get the other region's behaviour.

Your choices

Legal basis and your rights

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis for analytics is your consent, which you give by choosing Accept and can withdraw at any time. Where US state privacy law applies, our basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, subject to your right to opt out — which we honour both through the notice above and automatically via Global Privacy Control. You have the right to access, correct or erase the data we hold, and to complain to your supervisory authority. Because we do not collect identifiers that let us find you in the data, an erasure request is best served by declining consent and clearing your cookies.
